Please join us this Wednesday, June 8th at 7PM for a very special endorsement meeting as NKD looks to make its mark in a key Assembly race. The meeting will take place at the Smolenski Democratic Club, 145 Java Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn (near the Greenpoint G stop).
Candidates for the following races will be given an opportunity to speak and all eligible* members of NKD will vote on possible endorsements for the following positions:
* State Assembly in the 54th AD (seat vacated by Darryl Towns)
* Countywide Civil Court Judge
Also, the meeting will provide an opportunity to get active in NKD’s VOTE LOCAL campaign.
*To be eligible to vote in an NKD endorsement vote a member must have attended at least 3 NKD events in the last 12 calendar months and paid dues. You can pay dues online or at the meeting. If you have any questions about your eligibility, email Alex Low.
